Overview (2–3 ý lớn nhất)

Nhà hát được mở rộng và tăng sức chứa từ 400 lên 500 chỗ.

Khu sảnh/đường vào được chuyển sang phía Đông (từ 1 cửa phía Nam → 2 cửa phía Đông).

Tiện ích được tái bố trí, và có nhà hàng mới; khu công viên bên cạnh biến mất do khu nhà hát mở rộng.

Body 1 – 2000 (mô tả bố cục cũ)

Stage + backstage ở phía Bắc.

Ghế ngồi chia 3 cụm, phía Nam là foyer, có 1 lối vào từ main road.

Góc Tây Nam: toilets + coats; góc Đông Nam: tickets + refreshment.

The two floor plans compare the layout of Newtown Theatre in 2000 with its present-day design.

Overall, the theatre has been enlarged, increasing its seating capacity from 400 to 500. In addition, the public access area has been relocated from the southern side to the east, where two entrances have been introduced. A restaurant has also been added, while the adjacent parkland shown in 2000 has disappeared.

In 2000, the building was essentially rectangular. The stage and backstage were positioned along the northern wall, facing three blocks of seating in the centre. At the southern end, a foyer led to a single main entrance opening onto the main road. Supporting facilities were arranged symmetrically: toilets and a coat area occupied the south-west corner, whereas the ticket office and a refreshment stand were located in the south-east.

Today, the auditorium extends further eastwards and contains more rows of seats. The foyer now runs along the eastern side and is served by two separate entrances. Next to the seating area, the ticket office sits at the bottom of a vertical service strip, with refreshments above and coats higher up, while the toilets have been moved to the north-east. A new restaurant occupies the far north-eastern extension.
